Step into the world of ZED Champions, a new era of the classic ZED RUN experience where players breed champion racehorses to earn real money rewards. ZED Champions features innovative new racehorse attributes and behaviors, seamless hands-free racing, and real-time community connections around rising and legendary stars. For those who prefer to watch, spectators can join the action too, and it’s just as captivating.
ZED Champions is a game that redefines digital horse racing, inviting you to build and manage your stable, strategize for success and earn real money rewards by racing your horses and participating in auctions.
The game features an exclusive racing pool of 4,320 horses that are automatically entered into races based on their current standing on the leaderboard. In each race, horses stake up to 10% of their internal $ZED balance. Matchmaking (MM) points and $ZED Token ($ZED) are earned based on race results. Each race consists of eight horses, matched according to their MM points.
Each racehorse has an internal $ZED balance determined by its breed price and race performance. This balance also plays a role in determining whether a horse faces forced retirement from the racing pool as it increases or decreases after each race.
You can also choose to retire your racehorse after a race, earning real money rewards in the form of the remaining $ZED Token in that horse’s balance.
Gamified Discovery
The core of the ZED Champions ownership and breeding game is discovery. The game is designed to actively communicate and support this discovery loop wherever possible.
Progression in this game hinges on information – learning which horses are good, understanding their characteristics and using that knowledge to breed strategically or retire them at the optimal time for maximum rewards.
The information provided about each horse will emphasize this process of discovery. Whether your horse wins or loses, every race offers a new opportunity to learn more about its capabilities. In ZED Champions, knowledge is your most valuable resource.

ZED Champions is our answer: a highly engaging and scalable gameplay experience that directly addresses player feedback. We’re implementing cutting-edge racing mechanics and unique speed animations for each horse, ensuring it’s more dynamic and engaging.

What happens to my ZED RUN horses?
Your ZED RUN horses are still in your wallet, you’ll always own the NFTs. However, ZED Champions introduces new mechanics and digital horses, meaning ZED RUN horses won’t carry over. We know this may be frustrating for OG players, but we’ve made every effort to reward returning players in the new game.
What about my ZED RUN skins?
ZED RUN skins are still in your connected wallet and can be viewed on OpenSea .
At this stage, there are no plans to transition or integrate these NFTs into ZED Champions. They are not part of the current gameplay or reward systems.
What are the Rewards for Returning Players?
We created a Legacy Leaderboard to reflect player engagement, ownership and contributions to the ZED RUN ecosystem.
Stable owners on the leaderboard received a Rewards Badge with contents varying by tier, bloodline, and $ZED balance, all determined by leaderboard rank.
Initial Reward Badges were capped at Rank 2000, but breeding horses were distributed to all remaining players, ensuring every wallet received at least one horse.

I claimed my badge to a Metamask wallet, how do I use it in-game?
If you claimed your badge to a Metamask wallet, you’ll need to manually import the NFT using the contract address and token ID. Once imported, transfer the badge to your Dynamic Wallet to use it in-game.
Only badges held in your Dynamic Wallet can unlock in-game assets like racehorses and reZED.
I missed the claim period for my badge. What can I do?
Unfortunately, if you didn’t claim your badge before the deadline, it was returned to the treasury and redistributed to connected wallets as a bonus.
Your stable will be considered for a reZED reward as a consolation. Please reach out to our Support Team so we can review your case.
We want to make sure players who missed the claim period still feel supported to play ZED Champions.
What happened to the ZED RUN Treasury prize pool?
The ZED Treasury supported the legacy ZED RUN during the transition, and the remainder has been carried over to ZED Champions.
